There are many ways to travel the world, and there are plenty of things to see along the way. Temples give us a chance to take in the rich culture and beautiful architecture of the land. The most beautiful temples around the globe certainly don’t disappoint as they all represent their own beauty.

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, India
Not only is this temple the largest in the country thanks to the fact that it covers 156 acres, but Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is also dedicated to one of the forms of Lord Vishnu. There are 21 towers, including one that’s made entirely from gold and one that is 236 feet high.
Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar
There are beautiful temples, and then there’s Shwedagon Pagoda. It’s over 2,600 years old and is supposed to be built from eight of Buddha’s hairs. As if that wasn’t enough, the entire building is covered in gold and thousands of diamonds.

Prambanan, Indonesia
There are three buildings at this temple that dedicated to gods Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, with the highest of them all found in the center. Each one has a statue of its god and has been standing for over 1,000 years.
Wat Rong Khun, Thailand
Wat Rong Khun is known as one of the most beautiful temples, thanks to the incredible architecture that is found around the building. The white is to represent purity while the glass stands for infinite wisdom. Each area of Wat Rong Khun has unique carvings and sculptures.
There are so many incredible things to see around the globe, but the most beautiful temples are something else. Many have stood for thousands of years, and have been proudly bearing their beauty all this time. It could be time to marvel at their creation with your own eyes.
Jimmy Fallon Asked The Internet What They’re Doing While Bored At Home
Are You as Bored as I Am
Have you ever been so bored that you started questioning the origin of words and language in general? We’ve all thought about why words sound the way they sound at least once in our lives. It looks like Natalie here was so bored that she started looking into linguistics as well. Turns out “are you as bored as I am” still makes sense when read backward. How bored do you think you have to be to start analyzing sentence structures?
#imsoboredi figured out that “Are you as bored as I am” still makes sense when read backwards. That bored.

The Walkie Talkie Show
Walkie talkies have been around for decades but we’re not sure if anyone has used them to scare their neighbors like this! Someone came up with a clever idea to put one walkie talkie in a bush and scream in the other one to scare the people who walked by. Turns out this is a great source of entertainment if you’ve already binge-watched all your favorite Netflix shows. Two walkie talkies and a doorbell camera are all you need to get the show started!
#imsoboredi hid a walkie talkie in the bushes in front of my house so I could scream at people when they go by and watch their reactions on my doorbell camera. No more tv needed.

The House Room Names
Tired of sitting at home all day? One thing you can do is rename each room in the house so you can at least pretend that you went to different places throughout the day. That’s at least what this Jimmy Fallon’s twitter follower did. If you think about it, assigning a purpose to each room such as “the gym” or “the office” can increase your productivity daily. It started as a joke but it could be a good way to stay occupied and motivated while at home.
#ImSoBoredI …renamed all the rooms in my house so I could say that today I went to the gym, headed into the office, grabbed a quick bite at the diner, and have an appointment at the spa this afternoon. Last weekend I travelled to Patio Vallarta…

Let’s Get to Gaming
Gaming is a great way to kill time and have some fun, especially when you’re stuck inside. However, you know you’ve gone too far when you start falling for all the in-game purchases. On the other hand, shopping for game add-ons and in-game items does sound like a good alternative to actual shopping. Besides, gaming has turned into a worldwide industry worth billions of dollars. If you invest enough time and practice, you might find yourself competing in championships from the comfort of your home.

Who Let the Dogs Out
If anyone is benefiting from this social distancing situation, it’s the dogs around the world. People are bored of sitting at home and everyone wants to go outside and enjoy the sunlight. With everything closed down, there’s only one thing left to do – walk the dogs! The dogs are getting special attention and some of them are even tired of it. Looks like Liz took her dogs on walks so often that they don’t even get excited about it anymore.

Staring at the Ice
Cats can have fun with just about anything you give them, including something as plain as ice. If you think about it, ice is a real mystery for cats. It’s slippery and, after a few minutes, it just disappears. This owner gave her cats a piece of ice to play with but, instead of kicking it around, the cats just stared at the ice until it melted. To make things even more passive, the owner was so bored that she watched the cats do absolutely nothing for ten minutes.

The Laundry Chair
We all have that one chair that’s used as a hanger until it can no longer be seen underneath a mountain of clothing. One thing you can do when you’re bored is to finally sort your laundry and free up some space around the house. It looks like someone was piling up clothes for so long that they forgot there was a chair underneath it. Who knows what you can find when you start cleaning the house out of boredom!
#ImSoBoredI finally folded all my laundry and discovered there was a chair underneath!

The SpongeBob Picasso
Painting is a great way to pass time when you’re bored. You don’t have to be crazily talented to have some fun with a brush or a few crayons. Someone came up with a great idea to decorate the back of a calculator. This little DIY project turned out better than expected. The SpongeBob figure looks just like the original cartoon character. It will surely make math more entertaining. If anything, they killed some time in the process.

Hide and Seek
Is there a better time than now to play some of our favorite childhood games? Hide and seek is one of those games that never get old, as long as you have someone to play with. In this case, someone played hide and seek with their dog and won by hiding in the sheets. If you have a dog and you’re feeling bored, try playing hide and seek and you’ll see that it’s more fun when you play with pets!
#IamSoBoredi played hide and seek with my dog for 20 minutes. She never found me. I was hiding in bed under a sheet. Where I have been for the last 15 days.

DIY House
DIY projects are the go-to solution for boredom. There are all sorts of things you can build and create, given that you have the necessary materials. However, sometimes you just have to work with what you’ve got. Someone was creative enough to use random items they found in their backyard and build a house. The next time you get bored, pick up the first ten objects around you and try to put together a functional shelter for an animal or a decoration for the backyard.

The Closet Prank
While some people are complaining about being stuck inside and having to work from home, others are having fun with their new schedule. Someone even decided to mess with their partner during their “home office” hours. This woman hid in the closet to scare her husband who was working for home. It worked only for a second because both of them ended up laughing. Still, it’s a great way to kill some time and have a laugh while you’re at it.

The Sweater Bunnies
Sometimes you’re so bored that you come up with ideas that you never thought would never occur to you. Someone found a creative way to make stuffed bunnies out of nothing but old sweaters. They were so bored that they made not one but 15 old sweater bunnies out of every sweater they found in the closet. As the tweet says, it’s a good thing that it’s spring so they won’t need the sweaters anymore.

The Dance Party
What better way is there to kill boredom than to turn up the music and dance? Dancing is a great pass time activity for many reasons. It’s fun and it also burns calories, so it’s a win-win situation. However, this was no ordinary dance party. Someone started a costume dance party in the middle of the neighborhood and, when something like that happens, you can be sure that someone will film it. Luckily, the neighbor made some footage for us to enjoy.

The Terms of Agreement
How many times have you lied that you read the Terms of Agreement when you just skipped through the page? No one likes reading long legal documents, especially when downloading apps or signing up for things online. However, when you’re bored out of your mind, even the Terms of Agreement start looking like an interesting piece of literature worth reading. At least someone read the Terms of Agreement for the first time and we’re sure it was worth it (or not)!
I’m so bored that I didn’t have to lie…I actually DID read the terms of agreement!! #ImSoBoredI

Binge Watching
Binge-watching TV is a great form of entertainment, especially when you have extra time to binge an entire season in one day. Someone decided to binge-watch a dating show and even take things to the next level. They counted each time someone said “vibe” in every single episode of the show. Imagine the amount of focus and dedication needed not to give up halfway. After all, being bored does motivate you to do great things!

The Stay at Home Cake
Many people turn to cooking and baking when they’re bored. After all, baking is like a therapeutic activity that calms you down and rewards you with delicious treats when you’re done. Someone decided to make an entire cake and even write “stay at home” on it. Not only did they bake the cake from scratch but they also ate all of it out of boredom! If you ever get to this level of bored, look up new recipes online and start baking!

The Utensils Countdown
It is important to know what kitchen utensils you have at hand and keep track of your kitchen supplies. The last thing you want is to have guests come over to find out you don’t have enough spoons and forks for everybody! What better time is there to manage your kitchen equipment than during quarantine! Someone decided to kill some time by counting every single utensil and they’re even moving on to bowls and plates next.
#ImSoBoredI now know how many utensils I have… 10 spoons, 14 forks, 7 knives, and 3 toddler spoons. Moving on to bowls and plates next…

Nap it Out
The ultimate way to pass time when you’re bored is to just lay down and take a nap. Besides being so enjoyable, naps provide plenty of health benefits including extra energy and overall better bodily functions. However, you will know that you’re too bored when you start taking naps before going to sleep. Is it even possible to sleep so much? Perhaps, as long as you’re bored out of your mind and the dream world seems better than reality.

Grocery Haul
With social distancing limiting the time available to pick up groceries, many people have turned to online grocery shopping. While it is comfortable to select the items from home and have them delivered to your door, there are downsides to this situation. For instance, you have to wait for the grocery delivery time slots to open so you can place an order. Someone was so bored that they kept refreshing the grocery delivery page like they were trying to buy tickets for a Beyonce concert!
#ImSoBoredI keep refreshing the grocery delivery time slots like I’m trying to buy Beyonce tickets instead of Gushers and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

The Dog Therapist
There’s only so much you can do when you’re home alone and everything gets boring pretty quickly. If you’ve been lonely for too long, don’t be surprised when you start talking to your dog like he can talk back at you. It looks like someone took advantage of having a pet companion so they started pretending they are at a therapist’s office. Dog’s are already man’s best friend, who says they can’t be our best therapists as well!

The Dress-Up Dinner
One way to make dinner more exciting is to add a fun theme to it. This family decided to dress up like Tiger King characters for their meal together and it turned out better than they expected. To make the theme even more realistic, they pretended to eat “expired” Walmart meat for dinner. It might seem like an odd theme choice but they sure had fun with it and made some great family memories together.

Staying Organized
Being bored is a great motivation to start using your time wisely. This lady chose to use her free time to organize the hangers in her coat closet. However, she might’ve been too bored so she took it to the next level. Instead of just sorting the coat closet, this woman gathered all the coat hangers she owned and organized them by color. This level of organization will surely come in handy the next time she needs a hanger.

Watch the Ads
No one has ever had the time to watch all the YouTube ads – until now! People are so bored at home that they have given up the “skip ad” button. After all, with the advanced targeting systems, today’s ads are more useful than expected. Instead of skipping the ads on the next videos you watch, just watch through the ads too. You might come across something useful while killing time! Besides, you will be helping the video creator earn more money.

April Fools Jokes
How much do you have to scare someone to induce labor before it’s time? This woman kept joking about her friend having a baby on April Fools Day and it kind of worked! They say if you repeat something enough times, you can make it happen. Even though they didn’t plan to manifest this joke, it looks like the pregnant woman was so worried about having a baby on a wrong day than it sped up the labor. We couldn’t imagine how many things can manifest through our beliefs!

The Stay at Home Fashion Show
Staying at home all day means you don’t have to get dressed up. Since you won’t be leaving the house, nothing is stopping you from spending the entire day in pajamas. However, there’s no reason not to dress up the dog! Someone decided to kill some time by dressing up their dog, Leonard. You have to admit, it looks pretty hilarious! It’s so good that they might continue the dog dress-up show after this whole situation!

Imagine how bored you have to be to start pretending you are outside while you’re still at home! Someone missed the feeling of being outdoors and going to a public restroom so they decided to reenact it. You don’t notice how much the simple things mean to you until you cannot experience them for a while. However, this is the first time we’re hearing of someone who missed using a public restroom!

The Surprise Dinner
There are only so many dinner ideas you can try out before you get bored with every single meal at home. Luckily, you can add some fun and diversity with a few creative ideas in the kitchen! Someone was so tired of choosing their meals that they decided to take all the labels off the canned food so that each meal would be a new surprise. We’re not sure how surprising a canned meal can be but it’s surely a fun way to plan dinner!

The Stressball Makeover
A stress ball can come in handy during this uncertain period. It can help you relax and calm down if you feel stressed or anxious for one reason or another. However, there’s a lot more you can do with a stress ball! Someone decided to give their stress ball a makeover and get it ready for a date. At least the stress ball can leave the house! This is surely a unique way to unleash the creativity caused by endless boredom.

Here’s another example of people using stress balls to have some fun. Instead of giving this stress ball a makeover, someone decided to use it as a photoshoot partner and try out different Snapchat filters! The stress ball looks so similar to a human face that the algorithm recognized it and added real filters to it. With a stress ball like this, you can make all sorts of creative and hilarious pictures. Perhaps they should’ve tried the face swap too!

The Tree Naming Game
Have you ever caught yourself staring through the window for too long? It’s not an uncommon habit to lose yourself in the beautiful views, especially when you’re bored or trying to concentrate. You can never get bored when you have chickens to mess around with. Raising chickens is a great activity in itself, but if you get too bored during the day, you can always come up with ways to have fun at your little farm. The Wedding Scene
How long has it been since you’ve attended a real wedding? It looks like someone missed a good wedding event so much that they decided to reenact one. However, instead of a real reenaction, they used their AirPods as the main characters. The lefty Airpod Lucy and the righty Timmy or now happily married and waiting for the first opportunity to head to their honeymoon! Putting puzzles together is one of the best activities when bored. It’s fun to do and it gives you a goal to look forward to. However, if you are extremely out-of-your-mind bored, a simple puzzle won’t be enough of a challenge for you. Someone decided to count every single piece of a new 1000-piece puzzle to make sure that none of them were missing. This woman has already experienced the disappointment of not having the last puzzle pieces to finish the picture.

Someone had to go through this recently but they didn’t let the cruising dream go! To make things interesting, they came up with an entertaining plot as well. Getting to Know the Dog
Someone had already used their free time to open up to their dog like they’re talking to a therapist but this person decided to get to know the dog instead. It turns out they have a lot in common, mainly sleeping and eating as two best hobbies. A dog is a great companion for these times. He will listen and he surely won’t judge you no matter what you tell him! Too bad they can’t talk back, that would make the isolation days a lot more fun!

The Refrigerator Craze
We’ve all been in those situations where we can’t stop checking the fridge, even if we don’t end up grabbing anything. Even scientists have proven that people are more likely to binge eat for no reason when they’re bored. When we are locked down at home, it is more important than ever to look out for our loved ones and make sure that they are in top condition. However, it can get to a point where one is so bored that they are willing to take all sorts of strange risks. Take this person, for example. She was so bored that she apparently swapped her boyfriend’s vitamins for “women’s” ones. Sure, this probably won’t be such a big deal…

This certainly applies when the spice or herb in question doesn’t appear to be that urgent to throw away. A lot of these things last for a long time. However, if you are bored enough, you might want to check the expiration dates of some of those herbs and spices. This person has certainly benefited.

Not everyone is blessed to have workout machines at home. While it’s ok to go out and do exercise while stuck at home during a lockdown, we want to keep ourselves away from others as much as possible. That’s where the following innovation comes into play. This parent was so bored that they found a way to make makeshift indoor bicycles for their kids. The end result was pretty awesome and the kids look like they enjoy it.

We’re All in the Same Note
It can be easy to take for granted the amount of time and effort that nurses and doctors are putting in during a pandemic. Those of us who are privileged enough to simply stay at home and wait out a lockdown don’t have to work tirelessly around the clock to save other people’s lives. This person, while they might have been bored, felt compelled to write notes to as many nurses, doctors, and first responders as possible to show their gratitude for all of their hard work.

For writers, it’s about getting the rage on the page, especially when they are locked up and aren’t allowed to go out. However, if one isn’t interested in expressing their feelings on paper, then there are other ways that one can do this. For many people during the 2020 lockdown, Dr. Fauci has been a voice of reason and science that many people have relied on for information. His profile has certainly been raised over the last couple of months and so it should come as no surprise that some people might want to name their kids after him. However, we never expected someone to name their puppy after him. To be fair, “Dogtor Fauci” does have a nice ring to it.

Masterpiece? More Like Masterpiece Of…
If you are locked up at home with your kids, it makes sense to try and get some creative juices flowing. Maybe making some art together is a good way to bond during such uncertain times. However, the last thing a daughter needs is for their parent to become a serious critic of their work. Not everyone’s blessed in the art department. Hey, at least it is easy to tell that it is supposed to be a windmill and a field. At least give her credit for that!
#ImSoBoredI I asked my kid to make some art with me. Here’s her work. I’d be proud, but she’s 19 and in college. pic.twitter.com/ERxyOEYhXX

We Need a Break…
It’s perfectly natural. Many of us are spending a lot more time with our fridges than we usually would. Those quiet walks to the fridge often lead to bad things. More often than not, it doesn’t take long before it becomes empty and we need to fill it up again. Thankfully, one person saw the light and knew that they needed some space from it. We wouldn’t exactly put this move down to boredom, but nevertheless, here we are…
#ImSoBoredI had to social distance myself from the fridge.

The Background Noise
You know that feeling when you’ve been alone for too long and you just need to listen to someone talk again? This person was so lonely that they turned on YouTube live streams just to feel like they have company. A little bit of background noise can help, especially if you’re trying to feel less lonely these days. It’s a good thing we have Instagram and YouTube these days so there’s plenty of content to go through.
#ImsoboredI started to listen to YouTube live-streams in the background so it feels like someone is talking to me.

The Tupperware Lids
If you’re one of those people who have way too many Tupperware bowls, you probably know about the multiplying lids theory. Once the Tupperware lids start piling up in the kitchen cabinets, it starts to look like they’re multiplying when you’re not looking. Someone finally decided to debunk the myth and put all the lids on their bowls to see what happens! Nothing probably happened but at least they had something to do for a few minutes.
I put all the lids on my bowls and Tupperware just to see if they are indeed multiplying

The Book Club
When you think about it, creating a book club to combat boredom is a great strategy. Not only will you read new books but you will also be held accountable for your reading so you won’t give up easily. This family set up a book club meeting but, instead of reading fictional books as most groups do, they get together to read the dictionary word for word. If anything, they will certainly improve their vocabulary!
#ImSoBoredI created a book club with my family and we read The Dictionary word for word.

Spring Forward
Changing the clock for the springtime is everyone’s least favorite activity. Luckily, smartphones and other smart devices automatically adjust their clock so we don’t have to bother. However, with several manual clocks around the house, it can take a while until you decide to finally adjust them all. This person used their free time and boredom to finally move all clocks to “spring forward.” We call it a good use of time!
#ImSoBoredI finally moved all of my clocks to “spring forward.”

The Movie Title Game
Last but not least, someone decided to spend their time playing the movie title game with the words “toilet paper.” If you think about it, any movie title can sound ridiculous if you replace one word with “toilet paper.” “Guardians of the Toilet Paper” is a great classic, especially for this period when we’re dealing with a serious toilet paper shortage! The “Close Encounters of the Toilet Paper Kind” isn’t bad either!
#ImSoBoredI took movie titles and replaced one word with “toilet paper.” A few of my favorites are: “Guardians of the Toilet Paper,” “Fifty Shades of Toilet Paper,” and “Close Encounters of the Toilet Paper Kind.”
