The “baths” are large enough for stretching comfortably and have shallow areas that are perfect for children. Also, they are open all year round – and free! 

Aare River, Bern

One of Europe’s cleanest and most eye-catching bodies of water, the Aare River, is world-famous for its blue glacial meltwater, which makes it the ideal cooling spot during hot summers.

St. James Pool, Cape Town

Located close to Cape Town, St. James Pool is a breathtaking and sheltered natural swimming pool, coupled with stylish Victorian bathing boxes. Locals often use it as a picnic escape, and the best part is that it is free as well.  

Hampstead Ponds, London 

Hampstead Heath is a picturesque area in the English capital and is home to three historic bathing ponds: Kenwood Ladies’ Pond, Highgate Men’s Pond, and the mixed pond close to Parliament Hill. The former two are open throughout the year, whereas the latter is accessible only from May to September.

Finding a natural swimming pool isn’t hard even in the largest cities on the planet. All you need is a little research and the will to experience something new.

There are times that you see someone doing something and you just have to wonder how they could even be so rude. Yet, it seems that there are plenty of people who have no problem acting trashy, no matter who else their inconveniencing. Each of these individuals astounded and even upset onlookers with their actions.

It can be a really special moment when someone can finally celebrate getting pregnant after having trouble doing so. This coworker knew that!

They even went out of their way to grab their coworker a few personal cakes that they could celebrate with. The only problem was that someone else in the office took some initiative too — the initiative to take a single bite from each in a horrific case of stolen office snacks.

Weddings, while they can be fun, tend to be stressful. After all, they take a lot of planning and coordination to come together. So, we can see how a list of rules for a wedding could be helpful.

However, these rules go over the line into some really trashy requirements. Not only does this email outline outrageous concepts like heavily restricting appearances and monetary minimums on gifts, but it’s also especially weird that no one is allowed to address the bride.

There are some things that you simply shouldn’t take all of. For instance, the weights are set out at a gym for all of the patrons to share.

This person seemed to have other ideas, though. Instead of taking one weight at a time, they decided they would just go ahead and grab them all. They just have them piled up under the bench too — they aren’t even using them!

Halloween is a great chance to score some free candy. However, you have to understand that not everyone participates in the holiday — it’s their choice.

It looks like one trick-or-treater’s parents weren’t happy with this couple opting out that year. At moments, the note seems overwhelmingly passive-aggressive but when you notice that it’s addressed to an “unkind couple,” you realize that it’s mostly just aggressive. We have to wonder — did they do this to every house that didn’t answer?

There are some things that people do that are just trashy. In other words, there’s no purpose to it other than to be rude or mean.

Even if this student didn’t want to use the typewriter that day, couldn’t they have simply slacked off of their task or even just complete it anyway? Anything other than sticking a piece of chewed gum into the typewriter so that it doesn’t work would have been better than this.

Sometimes, when you’re at the grocery store, you pick up something you later decide you don’t want. So, you might just put it back.

There are times that people can just drop things back on a shelf but maybe you shouldn’t do that with something that needs to be refrigerated. Now, this pound of beef is probably just going to spoil and go to waste. Not to mention, it’s pretty rude to leave for someone else to deal with.

We get it — kneeling down on a hard, linoleum floor isn’t comfortable. Still, this is a pretty trashy solution to that problem. After all, this person is using other loaves of bread to kneel on instead of directly on the floor.

While it might work, it leaves a few loaves of bread completely flattened at the end of it. Not to mention, you’re kneeling on what would be someone else’s food, which isn’t what most people want out of their groceries.

Most people want to take fairly good care of their rental cars. If nothing else, most people find that it isn’t worth the fees if they leave a mess.

Other times, some people don’t care about their rental car as much. This truck was returned with quite a mess inside. We can’t quite blame the person for being frustrated with this mess either since they work at the rental company, so the mess was their problem to handle now.

If you go out to a restaurant, it’s polite — at least in many places — to leave a tip for your waiter. They helped you a lot throughout the night! We can’t imagine why someone would leave a tip in such a trashy manner.

At this point, it probably would have been nicer to have committed the rude act of not leaving a tip at all. What could someone possibly get out of leaving behind a problem like this?

This person posted this photo with a question about whether this McDonald’s drink actually looked like a large. That’s not the problem here. Instead, take notice of the background of the photo.

In particular, the fact that this person took the time to post this picture on Facebook while they were driving 52 miles per hour down the road. Wouldn’t it have been better to wait until you got to your destination or ask before you left the parking lot?

Selling your used items can be a great way to make a few extra dollars and reduce your waste. Furniture and clothes are just a couple of examples of what you can buy used.

On the other hand, there are some items that really are one-time-use items. One such example is a pregnancy test. Once you’ve used one, that’s it — that’s the item’s whole lifespan. Not to mention, we’re not so sure that lying to your partner about being pregnant is the best idea.

If you see an emergency vehicle like a fire truck or an ambulance coming, you should probably get out of the way. In the end, they’re trying to get to an emergency. Of course, you could always choose a trashy option, as this pedestrian did.

Rather than getting out of the way or waiting literally a few more seconds before crossing the street, they decided to just keep going. They even flipped off the fire engine for their inconvenience.

Technically, you can ask for whatever you want for your birthday. However, that doesn’t mean that you’re entitled to it by any means. This person requested money for their birthday, specifically from those who couldn’t make it to the party.

Not to worry, they tagged everyone for good measure. Unsurprisingly, it seems like their request went mostly ignored. That didn’t stop them from trying once more in a trashy attempt to demand money from Facebook friends for their birthday.

Flying on a plane is often uncomfortable if you aren’t springing for the good seats. So, why go out of your way to make someone more uncomfortable?

We can guarantee that making sure all of this person’s hair was draped over the seat took more time than just sitting down and keeping it in their own seat. Not to mention, this puts their hair in the passenger’s face behind them which isn’t the best way to spend a flight.

There are a few things that you can do on the go when you’re running late. For instance, maybe you’ll grab breakfast on the way or do your makeup in the car. Other times, the things left on your to-do list are better left for inside your own home.

Otherwise, you might run into a situation like this. While the person who did it isn’t there, it’s not hard to tell what happened at this machine based on the pile of nail clippings on the floor.

People who garden tend to take a lot of pride in what they grow. Most would be really upset to see something like this happen. According to this Facebook user, they just had to steal these flowers right out of someone’s garden.

What else were they supposed to do when the grocery stores ran out of flowers for Mother’s Day? It seems particularly trashy that they ask that the people who see this consider how they felt about the situation before judging.

A yard sale is a great way to make sure that you get rid of what you don’t need without just throwing it away. The extra pocket change helps too.

The problem with this particular sale came to light rather quickly. It seems like this person was selling someone else’s things not only without their permission but without their knowledge as well. This seems like one garage sale that could get ugly.

There are certain things that are just so amoral that you have to wonder what prompted someone to act this way. This scenario is one such situation. The picture here tells a sad story.

The person who posted the picture shared that these were actually the headstones of their grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-grandmother. We can’t think of anything much trashier than destroying someone’s family graves for no reason whatsoever.

It makes sense that parents are excited to welcome a new life into the world. However, we’ve seen some pretty thoughtless gender reveals over the years.

While this one definitely isn’t the worst out there, it’s trashy enough to make the list. The couple seemingly decided to use a local park for their party. Once the party was over, they were even so kind as to let the park keep all of the waste they’d produced as a party favor!

Many people take into account more than the technical specs of a car when they buy one. Some consider more aesthetic concepts and the like. Unfortunately, this car fails on both counts.

Not only is it rusted through, but the look is also topped off with a “send nudes” message that screams “trashy.” We’re not so sure about the promise of this car only having 300 miles on it either.

Some restaurants expect you to leave your trash at the table. In the end, though, not every table provides this service and you’ll have to tidy after yourself. At the very least, you should clean up after yourself.

This McDonald’s customer obviously decided that wasn’t their problem, however. It’s even worse considering that there must be a trash can within just a few feet from the table or the exit.

There are some types of trash that are annoying and rude to leave out but they aren’t necessarily gross. For instance, a discarded to-do list or empty box isn’t necessarily gross but it’s trash.

In other cases, the trash left behind is fairly disgusting. This dirty diaper is a good example of a piece of trash that would gross someone out — it’s human waste, after all. This is clearly a public bathroom too. We hope that this was a case of forgetfulness and not disregard.

When there’s a note like this in an elevator, it clearly didn’t come out of nowhere. It was a decision made based on past events. This naturally leads us to the question — how many people were just letting their dogs pee in the elevator?

Not only was this decision trashy but we can’t imagine that it wasn’t gross to the dog owner too. It’s even worse to know that they weren’t cleaning it up.

As we said before, riding on a plane can be uncomfortable. On the bright side, you aren’t necessarily completely out of luck if you need a snack in-flight. This person seemed to think that the food came with extra floor space too.

Each time they finished up with a piece of trash, they’d simply discard it in the aisle. He even left a full sandwich on the floor! This is a literally trashy use of space.

There are certain areas in a parking lot that aren’t actually for parking. This particular spot is dedicated to housing the shopping carts.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that everyone is actually going to listen to the rules that are set out in front of them. It didn’t seem to deter this person that this spot was taken up or the fact that they really didn’t fit in what was left.

There are certain things that are labeled “trashy” that are almost a labor of problem-solving. The only thing that really earns them such a trashy label is a judgment on appearance.

Sure, it looks weird that this person has a microwave as a mailbox and it surely makes the mailman do a double-take here and there. However, it effectively does its job holding the mail and they do have their house number clearly displayed.

When you go to the movies, it’s always frustrating to find popcorn in your seat or feel a sticky soda spill under your feet. Yet, these things happen. Then, it’s up to the staff to whip the theater into shape before the next showing.

You can help out by not leaving the theater looking like these teens did after they saw a showing. Once again, we have to wonder why people don’t just throw their trash away.

Listen, everyone wants to skip out on cleaning from time to time. Still, sometimes you just have to do it — especially if you live with roommates. As a roommate, someone would be right to ask questions if they opened the cupboard to see this inside.

It looks like this potato is well past its expiration date but if they keep it in there, they might just have new potatoes to choose from even if their roommates are angry at the surely sour smell.

Obviously, cheating on your partner is never okay — we can agree on that, right? But, sometimes, it’s even worse than not okay, it becomes downright awful. In this case, we think we might have found someone worthy of the title Worst Husband Ever.

Not only did Linnie not help take care of his own mother (which should have been his job in the first place), but he was also two-timing (or three-timing, in this case) his incredible wife. Now, that’s seriously inconsiderate.

As we’ve already covered, there’s a time and place for everything. As far as nail clipping goes, as we’ve said, it’s probably best to do it at home. Apparently, that’s a real problem that this doctor’s office had to contend with.

In fact, it happened so often that they had to leave a sign up with a visual aid to grab people’s attention to let them know that they aren’t allowed to clip their nails while they wait.

Once in a while, kids can get unruly and it isn’t always the parents’ fault. We’ve all seen parents trying to calm a crying baby on a plane or in a store.

On the contrary, there are some parenting moves that are just trashy. These parents surely didn’t have to let their children leave this toy aisle, previously fairly tidy, like this when they were done. Now, it’s up to a thrift store employee to do damage control.

Marketing teams tend to test run and carefully consider their ads. Clearly, that doesn’t always work and companies have had some questionable ad campaigns. Reebok really pulled out all the trashy stops on this one.

While we’ve heard encouragement not to cheat on a fitness routine, we haven’t quite seen anything encouraging anyone to cheat on their significant others. Well, that is, until we saw this particular ad that Reebok somehow thought was appropriate.

Ideally, you’d think that everyone would want to keep their environment tidy. In reality, it’s harder to convince everyone of this than you might think.

As for this building, it seems like many of the people who have visited this roof weren’t too concerned about hygiene. It looks like, over time, it has become a spot where people don’t mind leaving their trash behind. Quite literally, it’s become quite a trashy spot.

It seems we keep having to point out that there are some flaws to flying that aren’t necessarily just thanks to space. A little courtesy can go a long way in improving a flight. That’s not something that this person was willing to do, though.

They made sure to make themselves comfortable by stretching out with their bare feet out — no matter how uncomfortable it made the people around them. Their feet are in the other person’s actual foot space!

There are some things that shouldn’t have to be explained. For instance, an armrest is, as the name suggests, for your arms. The armrests on a plane seat definitely aren’t supposed to be used as a footrest for the person behind you.

It’s particularly upsetting and trashy that this person closed this passenger in by throwing their bare feet up on either side of them. We wonder how long this torture went on.

We can all agree that personal hygiene and grooming are important — after all, nobody likes being around someone who doesn’t take care of themselves. However, and we can’t even believe that we need to say this, there’s a right time and place to do whatever personal trimming and cleaning you want to do.

Guess what — the middle of the day on a busy bus is not the time or the place to do any of this. This lady should holster those trimmers back in her bag immediately and only take them back out when she’s home, preferably alone.

Walking into a public bathroom can be a real guess as to how much of a mess you’ll walk into. This sign probably wouldn’t feel very promising.

First of all, we have to wonder how much of a problem this is that they eventually needed to add a sign so everyone knew the rules. That also prompts the concern that it seems like plenty of the adult clients in this building were involved in this practice.

When you’re walking around the park, you probably see plenty of signs. For example, they might request that you clean up after your pets. This particular sign is concerning because it’s so unusual.

It also insinuates that this particular park has been used as a human bathroom more than once. We can only imagine that a particularly awkward moment is what confirmed that there were humans pooping on the path.

It can often be a pain to move large furniture. As such, you may not clean beneath and behind your furniture every time that you clean. This leaves room for some truly horrific finds when it’s finally time to move that furniture.

When this person moved their couch, they were disgusted by what they saw. Apparently, their roommate had been using the spot to store his toenails. Were they clipping their toenails on the couch?

There are some things that will always be considered trashy. One such example is littering just for the sake of littering. We have to say, this makes littering a pretty poor choice when you need a marketing scheme.

Yet, this struggling YouTuber decided that the best way to attract new attention was to cover the beach in litter with their username. We aren’t sure it gave them the attention they want.

There are certain things that people find trashy because it actively hurts other people. This Snapchat really oozes that energy. After all, cheating in a relationship can really hurt someone.

The worst part of this is that these two aren’t even just bragging about having a chance with someone who’s married. They’re excited that they got away with it in front of his family as well. To be fair, it’s trashy on the man’s part as well.

At this point, we have to wonder what it is about the thrill of not wearing shoes that leads people to some rather trashy behavior.

Just taking your shoes off at a game wouldn’t be as much of a problem if you kept them where they’re supposed to be. After all, who’s going to notice while you’re sitting? Well, everyone will if you throw your feet up next to someone else’s face while you watch the game.

There’s nothing quite like leaving everything behind for a few hours and enjoying the beauty of nature in peace. Hiking through a purely natural landscape does wonders for both our mental and physical health. It’s just nice to get away from humanity for a little while.

Too bad some jerk decided to ruin this beautiful nature walk for everyone by tagging a rock. What’s the point of this kind of advertising anyway? The only thing we want to do after seeing this is to go and report this guy’s profile…

Look, we get it — summers are really freaking hot! With electricity prices being too high to turn on the air conditioning all day long, people have to find creative ways to cool down and enjoy the warm weather.

But, ruining all that ice for everyone else who might need it really isn’t the answer! Next time, buy a large fan, get some of the ice from this box (don’t sit on it!), and put the ice in a bowl right in front of the fan. Cool breeze guaranteed!

Every couple is unique. That means that, while some go for a more traditional proposal — flowers, balloons, rings, the works — others choose a more… personal way to express their love. This one is definitely one of the more surprising ones we’ve seen.

We’re pretty sure that these port-a-potties hold a deep and emotional meaning to these two, and if we knew what it was, we might even possibly like it. But, right now, this is probably the grossest proposal we’ve ever seen or heard of. Ew!

Supermarkets, as reputable nourishment establishments, pride themselves on the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Except, some of them could not care less about all those pesky little germs thingies.

Or, at least, this employee clearly doesn’t! It would have been one thing if those were closed boxes or cans — still gross but manageable. But, that definitely looks like the meat aisle, which makes it just so much worse! We think we might just go vegan after this…

We often hear about landlords being terrible human beings, and some of them definitely are! But, there’s also no shortage of absolutely horrifying tenets that make all those strange terms in your contract suddenly make a lot more sense.

We really don’t understand how these people managed to create this much filth and damage to the property in less than six months! It truly seems impossible — this mess looks like it took years to build up. Worst tenants ever!

Halloween is every kid’s favorite holiday, right? After all, what could they possibly not like about fun costumes, tons of free candy, and staying up past their bedtime? We’re pretty sure this woman’s daughter absolutely hates the holiday after what her mother did.

Honestly, the costume looks pretty expensive and impressive. But, that really doesn’t matter when the kid looks this miserable wearing it! We really hope she at least gets to choose what to wear next year. With a mom like that, though, that’s not very likely…

We all love snacking when we travel. By car, bus, or plane, we sometimes just need something to occupy our hands as we recharge. So, nuts and seeds are perfect for that! Unless you’re a terrible person, that is.

For horrible people, snacking is just an excuse to leave all their trash to be someone else’s problem. What’s so hard about having an extra bug with you for garbage that you can later throw away? We feel so bad for the poor person who has to clean this mess up.

You know how people who work dangerous jobs get extra pay for having to deal with all those added hazards? Well, in the age of the Karen, we think every single person who has to deal with these entitled ladies on a daily basis should get that bonus.

Waitresses, baristas, shop workers, or any service industry worker should be able to come to their manager at the end of the month with a tally of how many Karens they’ve had to deal with and get a higher salary to match that number. Also, for every three Karens, the worker should be getting an extra vacation day.

Did you know that there are more Spanish speakers in the world than there are English speakers? So, there’s really no reason to disrespect and entire language by being a lazy, ignorant idiot.

Especially considering that nowadays, basically all of us can do a quick search on our phones to find the right translation — which is “no entrar aquí.” Not only is it more respectful, but it’s also shorter and has a better chance of actually warding people away from here.

Tattoos are really, really cool! We somehow found a way to inset all sorts of metals and inks into our bodies to create art! Do you know where you really don’t want all those metals, though? In your fancy holiday dinner.

So, we’re seriously hoping this is one of those kid temporary tattoos. Don’t get us wrong — this is still really weird and gross, but it might just be rescuable. No matter what, this is going to be one memorable dinner.

It’s not every day that you can pull out all the stops and just party like there’s no tomorrow. So, if you get the chance to do that, and in the party capital of the world too, you’re going to take full advantage of the chance, right?

Well, sure, but there still has to be some sort of limit. Being hauled to the elevator with a massive bucket over your head is a pretty good indicator that you might have overdone it. Las Vegas might never sleep, but this woman should probably have a nice lie-in.

We understand that it isn’t easy to spend so much time in one place as people have to do on long flights. But, that doesn’t give people permission to treat the airplane like their own personal garbage pile.

It really shouldn’t be this hard for grown adults to keep their area at least somewhat clean and organized, especially when the aircrew passes by with trash bags constantly. We wonder if this is how they treat their own homes because if they do, we never want to visit.

Imagine enjoying a nice swim at your resort’s pool when, suddenly, you’re met with a puzzling sight — a person holding a shaving tool. That’s exactly what these photos captured. This woman decided that, while on vacation, the best place to shave her legs would be the communal pool.

Look, if that’s what she does in the privacy of her own home, then fine (gross, but that’s her problem). It became beyond inconsiderate when she decided to pollute the hotel’s pool with her hair cuttings. This is disgusting on so many levels.

The tattoo a person chooses to have permanently inked on their skin can often say a lot about them. Someone with the “;” symbol is often a survivor, someone with their kids’ names tatted cares deeply about their family, and someone with a flower tattoo just likes flowers.

We’re not quite sure what this guy’s impossible-to-miss ink says about him. We do know that it makes us very uncomfortable to keep looking at both his sets of eyes. We really wouldn’t want to have a staring contrast with him, either.

No one, and we mean absolutely no one, who has ever worked in the food service industry will ever allow themselves to make this kind of a mess. Only a jerk who has never had to clean up after people would ever leave a terrible mess like this.

People, seriously — it takes a minute to pick up your yucky garbage and throw it in the trash. You have no idea how much easier you would make someone’s hard shift better by doing the bare minimum! So, be kind and throw away your trash!

Grocery shopping can be tiring and it makes sense that you might need a break from time to time. Still, you shouldn’t be inconsiderate in where you choose to have that break.

A big rule of thumb to follow is to not sit down on the merchandise. Even better, avoid sitting on anything that someone is eventually going to eat. Most people aren’t going to want to eat apples that a stranger has sat on, so it’s best to just avoid this.

When you leave an aisle at the store in disarray, it doesn’t magically reorganize itself behind you as you leave. It takes work to get the aisle back in order.

That means that when you’re trying to find the perfect thing and throwing everything else on the floor along the way, you’re making the day of some employees much, much longer. It would have taken an extra few seconds each to just put the discarded shoes back where you found them.

Free libraries are a great way to offer a low-cost reading solution. Not to mention, it’s just a great way to keep the community reading. This one was very beneficial to the community until it met a fiery end.

The trashy part of it all is that someone burnt it down on purpose too — it wasn’t an accident at all! What could possibly have been so tempting about burning down a free service that just offers reading material?

According to the post with this picture, this person was upset because the waitstaff seemingly didn’t bring them the check as soon as they wanted. Most people would just wait a few minutes or even go up to the counter to pay.

It’s a trashy and quite weird response to answer by signing the table in ketchup. Not to mention, nothing about this action solves the problem they were originally upset about!

As we’ve said, littering really is a trashy move. It’s especially rude to go out of your way to litter on a stranger’s property. The person who left this litter might have wanted to double-check their trash, though.

Since it was mostly shipping packages, it was easy for the owner of the farm to find their name, address, and send all of the trash they left straight back to their own home.
