From Nashville to New York: Discovering the Homes of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s not just a pretty face with the voice of an angel. She’s also a billion-dollar businesswoman with an eye for real estate and flipping houses. She has properties worth $150 million in Nashville, New York, Beverly Hills, Rhode Island, and London. So join us as we journey from Taylor’s childhood home, visit her past and present properties, and even pop across the pond.

Pop Princess and House Flipper

Taylor Swift began her impressive career when she was just 14 years old in the home of Country Music — Nashville, Tennessee. In the ensuing years, T-Swift has bought half of America and the world, from New York and Los Angeles to Rhode Island and London.

In each city, Miss Americana does what she does best, and that’s writing country pop songs about her experiences of life and love. But along the way, Taylor found another talent, slowly building her empire as a real estate mogul. So, let’s begin where it all started…

Pine Ridge Farm

Before Taylor Swift became one of the most famous names on the planet, she was just an ordinary girl with ringlets and a guitar. She grew up on a Christmas Tree Farm in Berks County, Pennsylvania. If you recognize the name, that’s because she released a song called “Christmas Tree Farm” in 2019.

However, Taylor didn’t spend her childhood selling festive fir trees. Her father, Scott Swift, worked as a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch. Christmas Tree Farm, where it all began, was set on a sprawling 11 acres. Check out Mom’s 1980s hair!

Childhood Home

The Swift family sold Pine Ridge Farm in 2002 for around $800,000 and moved to a lovely-looking 3,560-square-foot, three-story, five-bedroom house in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Although Taylor’s childhood home looks like it’s steeped in history, it was only built in 1929 in the Georgian Colonial style.

While not as old as it looks, the house is still pretty cool. It boasts an impressive welcoming palisade, a grand staircase, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, real brick fireplaces, elegant French doors, a gourmet kitchen, and a butler’s pantry.

Taylor’s First Home

T-Swizzle released her first record in 2006, but it took her three years to save up enough pennies to buy her first property. The 20-year-old songstress purchased a $1.99 million penthouse condo on Nashville’s historic Music Row when she was just 20 years old. She liked it so much that she bought the one-bedroom unit below hers the same year.

Taylor’s very close to her family, so it’s a good thing that there’s plenty of room for them in her industrial-style loft in the Adelicia, in the center of Nashville’s music hub.
