Their love of nature means the forests are filled with eco-lodges, but that’s not all. Believe it or not, but Costa Rica is often voted as one of the happiest countries in the world, and their lack of an army means its houses the United Nations University for Peace. Many locals are more than happy to give all the best traveling tips as well as offer up snippets of their beautiful language as they try to make visitors feel at home.

Costa Rica is a magical land, but there is more than just rainforests across this land. As well as being home to some of the most stunning beaches in the world, Costa Rica also houses a host of volcanoes. The Ring of Fire is made up of 14 volcanoes with some even providing active lava shows almost every night.

The Wildlife

Reptiles litter the land as everything from frogs to snakes are spotted at all hours. However, the beaches are perfect for sea turtles who regularly come ashore to lay their eggs while the tall trees are ideal for exotic birds and howler monkeys. Costa Rica really can feel like another planet thanks to the incredible show of animals.
